EURAICA 2027 – European Workshop on AI for Clinical Applications

The second edition of the European Workshop on AI for Clinical Applications (EURAICA 2027) will take place on 24–25 February 2027 at the Pullman Hotel in Brussels, Belgium, bringing together experts to explore the current and future role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in clinical evidence generation and decision-making.

Building on the inaugural edition, which examined how AI can support clinical research before, during and after clinical trials, EURAICA 2027 will focus on the current state of AI-enabled methods in clinical development. Discussions will explore which approaches are already being used to generate evidence for regulatory and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) decisions, the needs they address, and their level of maturity and acceptance.

The workshop will also address unmet needs among sponsors, regulators and HTA bodies, highlighting the scientific, methodological and operational challenges that must be overcome to unlock the full potential of AI in clinical research. A dedicated focus will be placed on data quality, accessibility and governance, alongside key European initiatives shaping the data landscape.
