The Alliance of Advanced Biomedical Engineering (AABME) is organising the first ever AABME CONNECT event in Minneapolis bringing together key stakeholders to discuss innovations and modelling and simulation in healthcare.

The Alliance of Advanced Biomedical Engineering (AABME) is organising the first ever AABME CONNECT event in Minneapolis bringing together key stakeholders to discuss innovations and modelling and simulation in healthcare.

The event

The event is intended to provide an opportunity for senior leaders from the biomedical engineering community. It is the first in a series of events focussing on different topics of high importance to the biomedical engineering community. A number of sessions will focus on the transformative impact of modelling and simulation on the healthcare sector in general. Specifically, the regulatory framework, success stories, building trust and the impact of modelling and simulation on the life cycle of medical devices will be discussed.

About AABME

AABME is the bioengineering initiative of Avicenna Member the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). ASME has recently become a member of the Avicenna Alliance and engages in close cooperation in relation to Computer Modelling and Simulation. ASME is a not for profit organisation with over 130 000 members in 151 countries aiming to facilitate knowledge sharing and cooperation among students and professionals interested in engineering and related sciences.
