Eqty Lab joins the Avicenna Alliance!

The Avicenna Alliance is pleased to announce EQTY Lab as its newest member, strengthening the Alliance’s commitment to trustworthy, transparent, and regulatory-aligned AI in healthcare and biomedical innovation.

Founded in 2024, EQTY Lab is pioneering a new era of AI trust, transparency, and governance through its AI Integrity Suite—state-of-the-art technology that delivers verifiable security, compliance, and collaboration across the computational and AI lifecycle. By combining advanced cryptography with real-time policy enforcement, EQTY Lab enables organizations to certify trusted data and models, automate governance processes, and proactively mitigate emerging risks in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.

EQTY Lab’s approach supports safer and more accountable AI development, from robust data lineage and binding controls to forensic-grade audit trails. These capabilities are designed to align with guidance from regulatory bodies such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the European Medicines Agency, as well as with leading compliance frameworks, including those developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

EQTY Lab’s engagement with the Avicenna Alliance is further strengthened by the involvement of Tina Morrison, PhD, Vice President of Scientific Strategy at EQTY Lab. Dr. Morrison brings deep expertise at the intersection of engineering, computation, and policy, with more than 25 years of experience in simulation and 17 years in regulatory science. Previously, as a senior executive at the FDA, she served as science advisor to the FDA Chief Scientist on Scientific Computing and directed the Office of Regulatory Science and Innovation. Her leadership has advanced computational and in silico methods, AI credibility assessment, and credible simulation for regulatory evaluation, earning her recognition as FDA’s Federal Engineer of the Year in 2019.

"We are very pleased to bring our data and process integrity expertise to bolster in silico approaches with verifiable model builds and verifiable AI and agents for healthcare to the Avicenna Alliance. We are delighted to engage with its industrial and academic members to further accelerate the adoption and deployment of in silico evidence around the world", said Tina Morrison, VP Scientific Strategy, EQTY Lab.

"It is a privilege for the Avicenna Alliance to welcome EQTY Lab as our newest member. Closely collaborating with Tina Morrison, a pioneer of in silico approach for regulatory approval, and her team will enable the Alliance and its members to further accelerate the adoption and deployment of Computational Modeling and Simulation for healthcare", added Thierry Marchal, President & Secretary General, Avicenna Alliance.

The Avicenna Alliance looks forward to collaborating with EQTY Lab to advance best practices in AI governance, enhance regulatory confidence of in silicoapproaches, and contribute to the responsible adoption of AI-enabled solutions in healthcare and beyond.
