FDA and the Avicenna Alliance sign an extension of their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

On October 13 Namandjé N. Bumpus, Chief Scientist FDA and Thierry Marchal , Secretary General of the Avicenna Alliance have signed an extension of their Memorandum of Understanding MOU # 225-17-001 to pursue their collaboration until May, 2027.

The intent of this MOU is to enable the development of scientific collaborations, outreach, educational initiatives, and intellectual partnerships between the Parties. This may include providing mutual technical assistance and participating to advisory boards and panels, workshops As time, resources, and legal constraints permit. Under this MOU, joint efforts will be undertaken to support collaborative research and training as permitted under appropriate statutory authority.

Pras Pathmanathan, Senior Computational Scientist at FDA will be the new Liaison Officer.
