Avicenna Alliance publishes the 5th Release of its In Silico Glossary

The Avicenna Alliance ispleased to announce the publication of the 5th Release of the Avicenna Glossary, an evolvingreferencedeveloped to promote a sharedunderstanding of the terminology used in the field of in silicomedicine and computationalmodelling.

As the adoption of in silicomethodscontinues to grow, the consistent use of terminologyisbecomingincreasinglyimportant. To support clear communicationacrossacademia, industry, healthcare and regulatory science, the glossaryprovides consensus-baseddefinitionsdevelopedcollaboratively by expertswithin the Avicenna Alliance.

Thisfifth release expands and updates the glossary with new definitions, including Virtual Human Twin (VHT) and Virtual Animal Twin (VAT), and revisedones to include stakeholders feedback. As a living document, the glossarywill continue to evolve alongsidescientific and regulatorydevelopmentsthrough regular updates and community input.
