This month, Avicenna Alliance is delighted to announce that the European Forum For Good Clinical Practice (EFGCP) officially joined the Avicenna Alliance as an institutional member.

HMA/EMA will establish a Joint Big Data Task Force
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) along with the heads of national competent authorities in the European Economic Area (EEA), created a new task force to explore how medicines regulators in the EEA can use big data to support research, innovation and robust medicines development to benefit human health.

Avicenna Alliance invited to Joint Research Centre (JRC) Round Table Meeting in Ispra
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) located in Ispra, Italy organised a Round table meeting on 7 March 2017 to identify possible topics for collaboration between the Centre, the Avicenna Alliance as well as the Avicenna Alliance research member- the Virtual Physiological Human Institute (VPHi), represented by Prof. Lies Geris.
